Ashtavakra gyaan day 1-3

Day 1
Don't answer unless questioned

If someone demands an answer, stay silent. A demanding person has no ears. They have removed them and kept it aside like dentures

People who are for something or against something in extreme, both ways they are caught up in it.

Five principles:
Contentment
Truth
Compassion
Sincerity
Forgiveness

Day 2

The five elements; the earth , fire, ether, water and air element have subtle control on the mind. Mind is made up of these elements.

There r main 5 types of sensations and moods that arise.

Feeling of heaviness - earth element

Fiery feeling or feverishness,
Lot of anger, tightness or burning sensation - fire element

Movement or wanting to run away and go somewhere - air element

Feeling of togetherness, oneness, a flowing floating feeling - water element

Fear love, discomfort and total confort- ether element

You are none of these 5 elements, none of these elements stay all the time, they stay for some time and vanish

There is freedom when you realise you are just a witness to all happening. All the states of mind are temporary. You are pure consciousness - untouched and unstained by any event or happening!!

If you want to worry, worry big! Worry abt the future of this planet, the whole universe. The moment worry becomes big, it becomes joy.

Day 3

Our impressions, identifications or ideas about ourselves are the cause of our misery. Wisdom is not having any fixed idea about yourself in your mind!!

Indentifications we get stuck in can be male female, younger or older, skilled or unskilled. Class and status in society!!

You cannot be seen by your eyes.the self cannot be seen because the seer is the self. You can only "be" that all and meditation is just being, not having an experience or doing something.

When you see events as just 'happening', rather than as 'doing', you are liberated right away.

Not to do, to undo, is another doing. The desire to do something to get out of it is another 'doing'.

Just be happy! Sukhi bhava! It is an order as well as a blessing. Be happy, devoid of sorrow.
