Saw #Shanghai , first of all, kasam khoon ki khai hai, seher nahi shanghai hai!! A very catchy line which comes on a perfect time.
Movie can be more described as modern art, very good if you understood and if not, start praising emraan hashmi!!! I would divide the movie among 3 men; emraan hashmi, dibakar beneerji and abhay deol. Emraan came out of his bhatt boy character and embraced jogi(thumps up), he is the one to watch in movie. The chances that you would like jogi increase by the fact that you haven't seen him doing anything like this before. You just can't miss emraan as jogi. Abhay deol played his role in his own subtle style, what makes krishnan come alive is the fact that he is very human. He isn't shown a larger than life hero or some extra ordinary character, am sure many real life officials would relate to him. He is honest, smart and again human. You may not go crazy behind him but you won't hate him either. now let's come to the director, dibakar tried to stick to his topic and story line leaving no room for non-relevant content perhaps that's what people would miss. We are habitual of masala movies and old habits die hard. He has a very sound and practical thinking process, will make you think very now and than, so do carry your brain along. kalki played her role well, but she has nothing for you to take away with post movie. Paid Rs.110 for the movie and I don't regret, my opinion could have differed if I would have paid some amount like Rs.250 for the movie. Last verdict : Movie can be more described as modern art, very good if you understood and if not, start praising emraan hashmi!!!
