Some places connect you with the self !!!!

Temples?? Why??

We often go to temples, church, mosque, guru dvara etc, but did you ever thought why we go there. To meet the lord?? But it’s just the idol of lord that we see there, not the divine himself. So why do we go there. We humans go there from thousands of years, but why?
Due to constant chanting of mantras and belief of the devotees these places are always charged with positive energy. When we enter such area, our aura cleans up. This breaks our link from bad and negative vibes. With outer environment getting purified, our mind relaxes slowly. We normally sit inside the temple for some time before leaving. It’s the same with church, guru dvara and mosque also.
This is to give time to our mind to settle down in peace. But this is still not the ultimate aim of going to temples. Just like when the fog settles down, we are able to see ahead clearly. When the fog of our mind clears, we are able to see the self, who is no one else but the divine. We go to temples not to see divine in the idol but to connect with the divine within.

Maya and Maha-maya

Maya Is a set of consecutive events that leads you to an action you wouldn't have taken otherwise. Maya creates circumstances which lead you from one event to another. Like if you want a water to reach a specific place, you build a pipe line from the source to that place. This pipe like contains all joints and turns which takes water to that the destination. Maya is similar to this pipe line, but its upto you to decide whether you want to go where situations take you or create your own situations. For the later you need to rise above maya which is possible only with the help of mahamaya i.e. The divine. Maya is illusion, mahamaya helps you see through it. Proper sadhna and satsang relaxes your mind, you become calm and composite and at the same time strong and vibrant. This keeps you unaffected in difficult situation. You stop behaving like the water in the pipe line.
